CONDITION DESCRIPTION:

This item is a USED Encounta! Strategy Game Heirloom Edition from S.J. Miller Co. Inc. Vintage (no visible date). It is a version of Mankala with a different name. 

The box has shelf wear on the corners\edges\face, there are speckled spots across the entire front face. There are lighter speckles on the back of the box. There is a hole in the cardboard box on the back that tore a little of the inside box liner, it did not effect the board. It has the original store sticker on one end (Abercrombie & Fitch). The board measures 25 & 3/4" long, 8" wide and 1 & 1/4" Deep. It has two stickers on the back of the Board: "S.J. Miller" with address and "Maya Genuine Monkeypod Handcrafted in the Philippines". The board looks good. The two sets of instructions are not original, one is a very faded "Mankala" instructions, the second is a typed/mimeographed copy of "Omseso". Overall, the box has wear, the board looks good. Quite the oddity and yet another of our many items that we can find no history of online in repeated searching. It will ship UPS due to the size.
