CONDITION DESCRIPTION:

This item is a Opened Box, but UNUSED Scrabble Rustic Edition w Wooden Box from Hasbro 2016. With this game DO NOT store the two piece board inside the box with the slip cover lid on! It took the skills of a safe cracker to get it open, twice! (In all seriousness, we do not recommend closing it up, it proves to be quite a challenge and the use of a fabricated cardstock "tool" to get it open). There is a slight bow in the wooden boards that cause it to lock closed. The box has some shelf wear on the corners and edges and a slight crack in the cover near the right edge. There are some light indentations along the right edge and left edge of the lid from attempts at opening it, but it looks okay. We thought the board was worn and scratched in the printed red areas, but after further research it was designed and printed that way to give it that "rustic" look. The contents look very nice and overall it looks good.
