CONDITION DESCRIPTION:
This item is a USED Escape from Frankenstein Game from Waddingtons 1983. The box has shelf wear on the corners\edges\face, one lid corner is split\taped with clear box tape. There is a small tear in the cover paper just above the "st" in "Frankenstein" on the front upper edge. The back has shelf wear and some tape remnants on all four edges, the tape wraps up onto the sides of the lid. The Cards are in plastic "Sleeves", they look good and lay flat. The board looks good, the plastic Frankenstein's Laboratory has it's stickers and it has some cracks on the corners and along he upper back edge. The remaining plastic liner is missing the back area underneath the Monster's storage space. The Monster is intact and looks good, but the plastic he is made from has hardened quite a bit over the years. The rules instruct you to "press the monster down" on top of the people pawns when it captures them, but the plastic is inflexible now and doesn't really work well, we were able to press the head of the pawns into his hands, but it snapped pretty tight and may be a problem if repeatedly doing it. The Monster has what looks like a squeaker under the base, but again he is so rigid now, it would be a bad idea to try and squeeze him. The Flip-a-Dice Unit, has all it's tabs, it assembles fine and works good.
