CONDITION DESCRIPTION:
This item is a USED Pollyanna Board Game from Parker Brothers 1952. It is complete. The box has shelf wear on all the corners\edges and face. There are two masking tape remnants on the front middle area and a small tear in the cover paper where the upper masking tape was removed. The upper right corner of the lid is split\taped with clear box tape and there is splitting running away from that corner along the upper edge approx. 12 inches long and there is clear box tape on that as well. The front lower right corner is worn and split along the side and lower edges approx. one inch each, there is no tape there so you can see into the box some. The box back is worn, yellowed and has tape remnants, three corners are split\taped with clear box tape. The board has wear on the seam and there is play wear on the surface paper, but it looks okay. One corner side edge of the board is worn and the cardboard underneath the blue paper is visible there, the back sticker looks good, but it does have a small name written on the upper left corner area. It has all four plastic cups, but this old plastic is very brittle and all four have cracks. The cracks in the cups have been reinforced with Super Glue, they all were still intact and they are better than they were, but there are many cracks and we cannot recommend heavy use of the cups. The wooden pawns look good. The large box liner has crushing and some tape on one of the short side edges. Overall this game shows it's age, but it is a complete playable game.
